We are excited to share our plans for the future of WPCasa with you. As you may know, the plugin was not available for quite a while and many users were asking for updates. Well, we are so happy to inform you that the WPCasa plugin is available again in the WordPress directory!
WPCasa Back On Track
We, Kybernetik Services, are now responsible for the plugin and will keep it up-to-date for you. There was a lot to do, as the plugin has not been developed further since July 2021. But: who doesn’t like a challenge!
After taking over the responsibility for the WPCasa plugin, we first checked the technical situation and the reason why the plugin has been closed. Then the main goal was to get WPCasa back into the WordPress directory and to fix the occurring problems and issues, noted by WordPress.
Lots of adjustments and improvements have been made and then the plugin was reviewed by the WordPress review team several times. Many thanks to everyone on the team for doing such a great job! We had to have some patience but got great news by the end of January 2024. The WPCasa plugin met all (new) code standards and requirements to be back in the WordPress directory. Yeah!!!
Future Of WPCasa
We have a clear vision for the future of WPCasa. The goal is to provide the best real estate plugin out there, which meets all possible needs a property website might have. The great thing is that we not only have experience with plugin development but can also count real estate agents among our clients, who got a property website tailored by us. The perfect knowledge base – even a USP!
Now let’s get technical! The WPCasa environment provides several themes and add-ons. The first step is to update the existing products, so they will be compatible with PHP 8 in the future.
WPCasa Themes
Right now, there are six premium WPCasa themes available that give you the possibility to create a great real estate website. Depending on your personal preferences you can choose between:
- WPCasa Madrid
- WPCasa Oslo
- WPCasa London
- WPCasa Sylt
- WPCasa Bahia
- WPCasa Elviria
As mentioned before, these themes will be updated to be fully compatible with PHP 8.
We will design new themes that are block-based (aka Gutenberg) and therefore, they will give you much more flexibility in your creation process. That way we can provide modern und great working themes that make our and your customers happy.
Add-ons
Also, the add-ons will be technical reviewed and updated to work with PHP 8. There are different plugins (add-ons for WPCasa) that amplify the functionality of the main WPCasa plugin. They can be divided in free and chargeable ones. Depending on the needs, some help with functionality others with compatibility.
